Teresa Jacobs-Castano

I have been assisting others develop the insight, awareness and skills necessary to implement change and develop a healthy, connected lifestyle for over 27 years in my profession. I have a specialization in child welfare and have been working with families, children and adolescents throughout my career.  I have expertise in facilitating co-parenting, mediation and custody evaluations.  I provide supervision for the substance abuse treatment programming offered in our office. I have developed specialized skills in working directly with adolescents and adults in the area of addictions.  I provide substance abuse evaluations for adults and adolescents. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which has been beneficial in my work with trauma victims.  Over the years I have acquired the therapeutic tools necessary to help individuals address frequent treatment concerns such as depression, grief and anxiety.

I have found that individuals and families enter treatment with the ability to create lasting change and healing in their lives.  I appreciate and am grateful for the opportunity to assist in facilitating this process.
