Elise Verley

I strive to make the world a better place.  In 2022 I completed my master’s in counseling from the University of Wyoming with a School Counseling concentration.  I work from a person-centered theoretical foundation with theoretical components of existential, multicultural, and feminist theories.  While completing I took specialized coursework in sociology and gender and women’s studies.  I have 5 years’ work experience in career services and an undergraduate degree in Theater.

When working with clients I work to meet them with empathy and honesty.  Providing a space where you can discover truths about yourself, trusting you are your own expert.  My counseling style has an educational element helping you understand how your environment and neurodevelopment.  I look at a holistic environment and how all pieces create you.
